It just might not be a great Joker put on a happy face shirt. I think it’s going to be an amazing movie, with phenomenal performances. Same production and cinematography wise it looks like a masterpiece. Well, what needs to happen is him running into bats at the end of the movie. One of the best Joker stories ever written was White Knight by Shaun Murphy and the premise wasn’t very Joker-like either. It was an Elseworlds story like this one tho so give it a chance. I think you said it perfectly. It probably will be a good film but not a good joker movie. If they followed the comics storyline then it would be.
